about
Out of Sync is an intimate podcast about life through disability — and a space for listening — created and hosted by Léa Hirschfeld, a French writer and podcaster based in Paris.
The first season was recorded across the United States during a Villa Albertine residency, from Vermont’s snow to California’s sun, gathering voices from Zeno Mountain Farm and beyond. Some guests also appear in Léa’s French-language book ZENO. The recordings came first; the book followed later — not as adaptations, but as parallel gestures, told in different languages and at different moments in time.
Conceived as an open listening space, Out of Sync will welcome stories from other countries in future seasons.
New episodes drop every Tuesday. Transcripts are available on YouTube.
